It's usually... I've got this great idea I want to turn into a book and need a writing partner to help me do it. Or, I have an amazin true life story to tell and need a professional writer to put it into words for me. One poster even said they have a brilliant idea and can even write the book themselves but thought it would be good to collaborate with someone on it (perhaps they're doing the writer a favor).
