Double Ds

Below you will find several sets of letters. If you add the same letter to both the beginning and the end of the group, you will have formed a real word. For example, _REA_ would become “DREAD” when a D is placed at the beginning and the end. Put your answer in the comments without looking at what other people have said.

1. _tlant_
2. _ada_
3. _eldin_
4. _illo_

Julia – I love the way you go through and find each instance that will work. In my mind, #2 was “madam,” and I didn’t even think of “radar!”

Hahaha, I know, I’m such a geek! I go through the alphabet in my head, although I’ve got some sort of head cold going on right now, so last night it was kinda hazy when I was working on this.

But “madam” was the first that came to my mind, too. Then “radar” popped up, too!

Thanks for providing these little word games, Lorna — I love them! (And I love your blog here, in general.)

    You rock! :)
