This is why I took my name off Digg mail. I got hundreds of Digg requests all the time, yet about 10 people (IF THAT) will Digg me when I ask. Lame.

I do love old school olive green and 70s burnt orange Tupperware from thrift stores - but of course that's another story; or possibly a mental defect?

@deb- that's kind of like when freelance parent wrote about overly effusive blog posts and everyone wondered if it was them. We're all just a bunch of sensitive artists!

Thanks, Dave. Would you believe I received a bunch of emails since writing this - all from people asking if it was written about them?

@Lucy, @Allena - They do indeed have Tupperware parties still. Actually I don't receive invites from them so often, but I do receive invites for a variety of party plans. That appears to be the way many women socialize around here. I'd much rather spend my money on dinner and drinks with friends than feel obligated to buy something I wouldn't use.

And yes, this does go for much of social media.

Followed from twitter. . . I don't Digg, but this goes for much of social media (or so I'm told, not my strong point). Tupperware parties- they still have those!?
