The Network Blogging Tips Postcard Giveaway! – Prize Facts
Have you entered our postcard giveaway yet?
Are you interested in learning more about the prize you could win? Here are the facts…
Our prize sponsor, UPrinting.com is offering two lucky readers a set of 250 4×6 postcards.
UPrinting.com specializes in many different things from postcards printing, to business card creation, to greeting cards, to calenders and lots more. What I like best about them are their eco-standards. UPrinting.com uses low-VOC soy and veggie inks, offers recycled stock and water based coating options, plus practices proper recycling of product scraps (good deal).
Even if you’re not so into green as I am, this company still offers loads of perks including low-cost products, proofs (before you pay), and samples. PLUS you can design your own products online, using your own logos and images to customize, or browse a huge selection of pre-designed products.
Here are two examples of postcards from UPrinting.com… the first is a holiday postcard you could send out.

This next one is for a pro photographer – I couldn’t find a writer’s postcard, but this, I think is still a good example of how you could sell people on your business with a postcard. (Front and back shown).

The winners of this giveaway will have their choice of postcards made with one of the following stocks:
14 pt Gloss Cover with an Aqueous (AQ) coating. Glossy sheen and water-resistant plus laser and inkjet printer friendly.
14 pt Matte Cover with you guessed it, matte coating. Dull satin finish plus inkjet and laser friendly.
13 pt. Cover Uncoated Recycled which is 30% recycled and uncoated. FSC Certified, writable. Inkjet and laser friendly.
If you think postcards might help your writing business, visit UPrinting.com to learn more.
Win free postcards to send your clients!

During the holidays one nice gesture you can make is to send a little holiday greeting to clients. You can accomplish a few things by acknowledging clients during the holidays…
- Keep your name on the client’s radar.
- Score a gig – i.e. use this opportunity for contact, to ask about their needs for writers on upcoming projects.
- Set yourself apart. Face it, good writing is well, good writing. Hundreds of writers can sufficiently complete a project. Sending out a holiday greeting sets you apart as the good writer who is also friendly and thoughtful.
You can send greeting cards, but that’s a little much. You can also send postcards or e-cards. I usually send e-cards, because of the eco-impact, although on the paper upside, a client may keep the postcard around, but delete an e-card.
If you’re thinking that this holiday gesture sounds like a plan, we’ve got a great giveaway that can help you out.
