Freelance Writing Jobs for Friday, November 20, 2009

// Ah. Friday. Some weeks it seems like it’ll never get here. It’s going to be an interesting weekend and week because of the impending holiday. I like to reflect during this time about the things I’m thankful for, but also for the things I’d like to be thankful for. For example, if I had my druthers, this blog network would be my 24/7 sole source of income. We’re close but not quite there yet. What are some of the things you hope you’re thankful for next year? Some members of this community mentioned the front page doesn’t always update and they miss the leads. That’s my fault, actually. There’s... [Read More...]

// I spent a lot of time last night reflecting about past freelance clients and how they treated me and their other writers, some treated us well, and others…not so much. Freelance Writing Jobs for November 18, 2009

// Have you ever been surprised by your own productivity and output. Today (I’m writing this on Tuesday evening) I got more done in a single day than I have in some time. Not sure why it was so different from other days, but I’m  not complaining. Let’s hope this is a trend that will last. I’m starting to notice a slowdown in jobs. It’s going to be up and down (mostly down) until January. Freelance Writing Jobs for Tuesday, November 17, 2009

// How is everyone doing as we get closer to the holidays? I realized today Thanksgiving is next week! I haven’t done anything to prepare. After that, it’s just another month until Christmas, and I have done a single thing for that, either. I think I’m in denial. For me, the hardest part will be cutting back on the amount of work I do each day so I can shop and bake. I have so many projects happening now that I’m sure I’ll be working late in to the night between now and January 1st. Things are going to start to slow down for the holidays. Will you be slowing down as well, or will you be taking advantage of the... [Read More...]
