It’s funny, after my full time job ceased to exist last June, I thought I might downsize in order to catch up with some personal projects and spend time with my family. The truth is, I’ve never been busier. This blog turned into a full time job and I have a ton of projects keeping me up late at night. I have nothing to complain about, I like keeping busy. I find it interesting because I was worried about making ends meet after being laid off. I felt kind of guilty for a while for not finding another full time job, but then my persnal projects began to pay off. Every time I think things aren’t going my way and every time I take a big hit due to some silly drama or negativity, I’m presented with another opportunity to succeed. I’m feeling truly fortunate this morning and I’m so thankful for this success.
As this is the season to be thankful, what are you grateful for today? (Let’s talk about writing and not family and loved ones, as we’re all thankful for them!)
I didn’t get a chance to do a huge search for you today as I have so many obligations. However, there’s a bunch of good stuff here and I hope you land some tasty gigs today.

I know I have said it before, but I am very grateful to have found this site and Anne’s. Between the leads I have gotten from the two of you I have landed one regular writing job and several other casual ones. This has finally allowed me to pursue writing (13 years after completing my degree), something I had been afraid to do in the past, and stay at home with my two year old. Many thanks!
I’m very grateful for all the time that you put into this site! In fact, I just got my highest paying gig from it today.
At this point with everything going wrong the last several months, I am thankful for “maybes.” I’m thankful for the possibilities of new gigs. I’m thankful for those little bread crumbs that remind me there is still a slight glimmer of hope that we can pull through this mess.
As a writer I am thankful for the Internet because I am able to write and make a living at it.
It seems to me that the Nine Times Ventures LLC gig is too good to be true. Anyone know anything about them?
