LearningExpress, LLC—provider of customized test-preparation materials for students and adults to improve their performance on academic, licensing, and certification exams—is looking for a freelance writer with an education/background in chemistry to work on the new edition of their title, Nursing School Entrance Exam.
1) CONTENT REVIEW:
Chapter 8 (Chemistry) needs to be reviewed to ensure clarity and accuracy. You would mark-up tearsheet corrections to any inaccurate content, if required.
The chapter is 32 pages long, and provides a very brief overview of the core topics found on most nursing school entrance exams: atomic structure, periodic table, chemical bonds, stoichiometry, energy and states of matter, reaction rates, equilibrium, acids, bases, oxidations-reduction, nuclear chemistry, and organic compounds. (Students are instructed to use supplemental materials for a comprehensive review of each topic.)
2) WRITE TEST QUESTIONS:
There are 3 full-length practice tests in the book. The Chemistry sections in each test need 15 new questions each, for a total of 45 new questions.
FEES:
1) Chapter 8 Content Review: $100
2) New Test Questions: $10 per question ($450)
TOTAL: $550

Deb, do you have a contact address for this one, by any chance? I checked their Web site but didn’t see this notice listed. Thanks
