We’re looking for somebody who understands what we’re trying to say, not just how to say it. There are lots of people who can prettify our marketing-speak, but that’s not what we need. If you’re our writer, you’ll understand the concepts behind the project; see the strategy we used to develop it; and be ready to use those concepts and that strategy to inform your work.
You’ll be working closely with us, and we’ll expect ideas and suggestions from you. We do not work on the drive-thru model, in which we place our copy order and drive around to the window to pick it up from you later.
We can negotiate an hourly rate with you, but greatly prefer a per-job arrangement.
