Description:
Collaborate with our product and engineering teams to develop accurate and user-friendly API Implementation User Guides to provide external development teams with enough information to self-implement our APIs.
The Implementation User Guides must include code samples, multiple use cases to help the end user choose which APIs to use, and provide thorough descriptions of our API functions.
Enhance existing API documentation to be used by internal stakeholders. Maintain internal and external facing API documentation as required with each new software release.
Provide regular written and verbal status updates to applicable stakeholders.
Requirements:What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer, with a focus on API documentation for developers.
- Experience working with a content management platform and the ability to communicate value of the platform with informative technical writing skills.
- Sharp writing skills, and ability to accept and provide editorial feedback.
- Strong understanding of APIs and programming concepts.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that uses Agile software development methodologies
