About Us
White Diamond Salon Spas is a woman-owned, minority-owned business on a mission to restore dignity, beauty, and wellness to one of the most overlooked communities in America: seniors. We deliver professional salon and spa services directly to senior living communities, assisted living facilities, country clubs, and hotels, providing more than just haircuts—we provide connection, confidence, and care.
We are expanding nationwide, and as we grow, we are seeking grant funding to support job creation, mobile salon units, community wellness programs, and access to services in underserved senior populations.
Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled, passionate, and mission-aligned Grant Writer to identify, write, and submit competitive grant proposals for public and private funding. This role is ideal for someone who has experience securing grants in the areas of:
- Health & wellness
- Senior care
- Women-owned and BIPOC-owned businesses
- Workforce development
- Mobile service delivery and community-based programs
You’ll work closely with our leadership team to develop compelling narratives and measurable outcomes that align with our values and vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and track federal, state, foundation, and corporate grant opportunities
- Write and edit grant proposals, LOIs, and supporting documents
- Create budgets and grant-specific timelines in collaboration with leadership
- Maintain a calendar of deadlines and reporting requirements
- Collaborate on program design, data collection, and impact metrics
- Assist with reporting and compliance for awarded grants
Qualifications
- Proven track record of successful grant writing (please provide samples or metrics)
- 3+ years of experience preferred, especially with nonprofit or socially responsible businesses
- Strong research and communication skills
- Understanding of senior care, health equity, wellness, or service-based businesses a plus
- Self-motivated and deadline-driven
- Bonus: experience with funding in minority/women-owned enterprise programs
